'I have worked as a civil servant for nearly 10 years, currently as a Project Manager and have been fortunate to live and work in different places but always found that volunteering while moving frequently was difficult. I moved back to my home town, Northampton, a few years ago and knew that one of things I wanted to do was commit to volunteering with a charity that had a positive impact on the local community. Domestic Abuse can happen to anyone and the fantastic work NDAS does is so inspiring, I knew I wanted to be a part of it. I'm always learning something new and being able to do this around my normal working hours is fantastic.'
